- Hardware part of the phone I think is all good. Phone is lightweight. back of the phone is made of plastic, but it does not have cheap feel. Screen is very good quality - no complains here , CPU works very smooth, no lag while using apps. Battery is not very large, but battery life is not bad thanks to efficient CPU and android 8 controls - on light use, managed to get 2 days of life. Camera is probably the best I had on a budget smartphone for years - really good quality and sharp images, night mode photos also great compared to phones i had before. Fingerprint sensor working with no issues. The only issues i had with hardware part is lack of usb-c and fast charging.
Software part is a different story in my opinion. First time using MiUI OS and first impressions wasn't great. Bringing some of the features from iOS to android doesn't work that great. Lack of all programs folder is the first thing that comes to mind - really don't like having ALL my apps and widgets on home screen and without being able to sort everything alphabetically. Don't really like raise to wake phone feature, witch I wasn't able to disable on settings. Also experienced some other minor bugs while using phone or adjusting setting. witch i hope will be fixed or phone will get newer MIUI update, but as of today, really cant't say much positive about MIUI9 compared to stock android experience.
